 How to Be Mindful of Your Safety Around Multimedia Equipment

• Do not consume food or beverages near the library computers or electronics. Keeping liquids away from electrical equipment will help avoid electrical fires

• Be mindful of any cords around your surroundings, if you are charging personal devices, please ensure cables are not obstructing walkways to avoid tripping hazards.

• Report any hazards such as faulty wires and damaged plugs, switches, and electrical equipment to library staff so we may organise replacements and repairs.

• Take breaks if staring at screens for long periods to rest your eyes and avoid strain and headaches. 

• If you need assistance setting up or using any multimedia device, please ask our friendly library staff for help.
